A fabulous year for our 2nd Princess

We survived...literally.....

Its been an incredible year for you princess & for us as well...We awaited your arrival with SO much anticipation (at least your mom did).  We didn't know what to expect and you have blessed us tremendously.  We loved you before you were born & are SO grateful that God choose us to be your parents.  You & your sister have truly blessed us.

You made your debut a year ago.  We stayed in the house for 6 weeks then we made our debut to the world.  Thank you to our neighbor Vanessa who encouraged me to get out there.  Which I did but I stayed primarily local cause you were a breastfeed baby &  a little demanding when you wanted a need to be filled.  Good thing is that you have been an excellent sleeper.  So, we would go out and hande business with your sister.  By going out to the chino museum, library, take your sister to preschool or to the store.  There are times when your mom just wanted to get out & go somewhere, anywhere.  At times it was extremely difficult for your mom because your dad was working SO far from home (Santa Monica 2+hrs) He would be gone before you woke up in the morning & be home to have dinner & say good night.  Things with your dad didn't change till you were around 8 months.  The 1st 6 months you wanted nobody but your mom.  Especially because you were being nursed.  I think things changed with your dad cause his job ended & he was home a lot more often.  Your dad even took a sybatical cause working in Santa Monica really took it out of him.

Seeing you with your dad now is wonderful.  You are completely different & seek his attention now & get mad at your sister sometimes when he is giving her attention.  It is hilarious to see you get SO upset.  You are still cautious around everyone else.  You & your sister have sparked something in your father that makes your mom SUPER proud of him.  He is such a hard worker & will do absolutely anything for you both.  Hearing him speak of his plans for you two amazes your mom, & makes your mom proud of her decision to marry & start a family with such an awesome man.

When you were around 8 months the United States got hit with COVID19 & life as we know it came to an end.  We stopped doing everything.  We are still in the midst of the pandemic.  We will see if and when the United States gets back to somewhat normal cause this new normal SUCKS.  We don't go anywhere or do anything. We haven't seen family or friends for months.  We try to make the most of the situation but it is extremely hard.  Even though not going no where or doing anything really makes life that much easier but it also comes with a lot of complications.  Trying to find fun things to do with you girls & educate you 2 has been a challenge.  Thankfully, your mom is up to the challenge.
You are completely different from your sister.  You both are uniquely your own individual.  Your 1st year of life has flown by.  We have watched you change & grow SO fast.  With your sister it was the same, SUPER fast but with you it feels even faster.  SCARY

You are a year & have 8 teeth and cruise everywhere.  You took your first 2 steps to your dad 7/15/2019.  Your ability to walk is definitely coming.  We are currently working on your confidence.  You & Yesenyah run CRAZY, which is exactly what your parents wanted,  We wanted you guys to be partners in life.

We look forward to continue to see you grow.  We are hoping you are going to continue to be an awesome individual.

Love your parents...
