5 MONTHS TO GO!!!!

We have exactly 5 Months til the BIG DAY and it is definetly crunch time and We I still have lots to do.  Many of our friends and family have been asking where we are with the whole wedding planning process so with only a couple of months to go I figure it would be a good time to update everyone.

We definetly are feeling STRESSED and sometimes I feel like I have so much to do that I don't even know where to start.  But, thankfully Brandon helps calm my nerves and has been a big part of the wedding planning and is always a part of the final decision making process. And, my Bridal Party has done a good job helping me with ideas, looking up information and being supportive along the way. 

Where we are with things....

Given the Time of Year and Venue we went with Fun Warms Colors for the Wedding Colors and Decor

Mango Tango

with hints of Yellow

and then of course a little Green and various shades of Browns and Tans.

For the most part the Decor has been finalized still just working on small details.

This month we have scheduled appointments with the Catering Company, Bakery and Entertainment Company

We are still currently narrowing down and researching Florist and Photographers, and working on selecting and ordering Invitations that will formally go out sometime at the end of March or beginning of April.

Still in the works is planning our Honeymoon, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Shower, and all the other small details that go along with planning a wedding.

But, so far so good, and even though we are stressed we couldn't be happier about how things are coming along.

What You Wanna Know...

Whether you live locally or out of state, and are planning to come for a day or two or more,  all that you need to know in regards to travel and accommodations will hopefully be answered here.   If there are things that you are unsure about please feel free to contact Brandon or myself at anytime. 

As you all know we will be getting married June 11th 2011 in Temecula, CA also know as Wine Country...which is located approximately 1 hour away from our home in Ontario, CA.  The closest airport to us is Ontario International Airport which is the one that we recommend, it is a convient and easy to navigate airport.  Other options you may want to look into and consider are LAX and San Diego's  International Airport ...both Ontario and San Diego's airport are about an hour away from Temecula whereas, LAX is approximately 2 hours away from Temecula.  We only mention San Diego Airport with the thought that maybe some of you may want to make a vacation week out of your trip and San Diego has many Local Attractions that you may be interested in visiting while here.

We are planning on being in Temecula from Thursday June 9th through Sunday June 12th and will be staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Temecula.  We did A LOT of research and visited A LOT lot of local hotels and went with the two best options that we thought would be best accommodating for all of our guest.

Both hotels offer a variety of amenities such as a Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Room, Pool, Spa  etc. and are located only minutes away from Old Town Temecula, Wine Country, Pechanga Hotel Casino Resort and Spa and other local attractions.  

 We must also note that Pechanga Hotel and Casino is also conveniently located and another option for accommodations, we simply just chose not the go with them as they did not offer a good Group Rate Discount...but we do intend on having plans to visit the Hotel and Casino during our stay in Temecula as the Resort offers a variety of fun things to do, such as a Comedy Show, Spa, Night Club, Fine Dining etc...for more information on Pechanga check out their website at http://www.pechanga.com/

I KNOW I KNOW...

I KNOW I KNOW...what can I say I am totally GUILTY!  I have been promising those of you that have been asking that I would be updating the blog SOON but we have been SUPER BUSY ever since the 1st weekend in October.  Literally it felt like every time I thought I had time to sit in front of the computer and do research on wedding stuff and update the Blog something else would come up and I just wouldn't get it done...but know that its a New Year and things have started to FINALLY slow down a little...let me go ahead and fill everyone in on the last few months of our lives.

October and November were 2 months FULL of Birthday Celebrations since Brandon and I both have Family and Friends that share our Birthday Months there was TONS of Celebrating going on...I kid you not EVERY weekend we were doing something. 

This year I turned the "B-I-G 30" and Brandon threw me a WONDERFUL SURPRISE PARTY which is EXTREMELY hard to do given my need to know everything personality.  But, with the help of my girlfriends who kept me distracted ALL DAY, by taking me Dress Shopping, he was able to pull it off. 

The celebrating then continued the following weekend with a Trip to San Francisco. I was SO Incredibly HAPPY that my cousin Sonia was able to fly out from Florida and my Good Friend Mel were able to make this trip with us.  Definitely made the trip one of my most memorable.

The next weekend was filled with Wedding Stuff and a Great Surprise Visit from Brandon's Cousin Jessica and more Family get togethers to Celebrate Birthdays.

Can you believe ALL that was just in the month of October.  November started off with our Beautiful Niece Emely turning 5, which we followed with Brandons annual Birthday Trip to San Diego for their Annual Beer Week.  We enjoy doing this trip every year with some of our closets friends. Followed by more December Birthday Celebrations for my Little Big Brother Joseph and my Neice Christina who turned SWEET 16 with a Big Sweet 16 Bash... And, then before we knew it the Holidays hit and things only got more CrAzY and HeCtiC with a couple of mishaps, family emergencies and everything else in between maybe you can come to understand why it has taken me/us so long to get things together :)

But, now that things have slowed down A LITTLE, and its the beginning of a New Year and only about 5 months til the wedding...which we are both anxious and excited about....we have nothing else planned to do but focus on finalizing details of the wedding :)
