Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone is having a BLESSED HOLIDAY.  I have totally been enjoying the Thanksgiving Holiday and I am reliving myself of a ton of duties.  Of course I am still a wife and a mom & am dedicated to that.  But, I also plan on enjoying myself & not worrying about the cooking.  Ive been off since Monday & Brandon has been a GREAT sport fending for himself.  it feels good to relieve myself of some duties but of course I can't sit back & just do nothing.  The girls defientyly keep me busy.  It is a 24 hour job that is totally worth it & fore filling.

So the last 4 months have been chaotic& gone by SO fast.  Its HARD to believe I have a 29 month old & 4 month old.  They bring me SO much joy & remind me that God is good ALL the time.  Its SO hard to do anything not child related these days.  Hence, thats why I haven't been keeping up with the blog.  So, here is the latest.  Leila is 4 months now & starting to roll over by herself talks a whole lot & drooling like CRAZY.  I/We think she is going to be be doing stuff to try to keep up with Yesenyah. before we know it.  Time went by fast with Yesenyah & now it is going by ridiculously fast.  Leila will be walking, talking & have her 1st birthday before we even know it.  We are beyond blessed to have added her to our family.
Yesenyah is a 29 months now & such a BIG girl & fully potty trained   She is SO independent and loves to do things on her terms.  She started preschool at the end of last month.  Its a preschool run by the city.  She goes 1x a week for 1 hour.  We are at the parent & me stage of preschool so I go to class with her & take Leila.  This mom has to find something to help this kid burn some energy.  She doesn't get to start sports or go to school on her own until she is 3.  So, I love that preschool is something to do which she benefits from.  Its nothing big but it is a good start & it is something which is better then doing nothing.  So Mondays I get ready for the week.  Tuesdays we go to bilingual story time at the library, Wednesdays we have a play date, Thursdays preschool & we usually run errands on Fridays. Then enjoy our weekend with daddy.

Overall we have had a GREAT holiday & I have been enjoying myself.  Here is an overload of pictures from the past few months.

We are currently working on her self dressing to make it easier for me when she goes to school.  She LOVES to pick out her clothes & put them on #workinprogress
These girls LOVE each other.  Yesenyah is a GREAT big sister.
 She is ready for school
She already goes to the dentist & brushes her teeth.  The dentist said we are doing a great job with her teeth.

Hubby Cleans up really well, this is a random wedding shot
Leila did an excellent job at the wedding.
This mommas confidence is slowly building & I've done several outings by myself.  The furthest Ive gone solo has been Rancho Cucamonga. Our outing to Arizona was a family outing,  A lot easier to do things & go places when you have the support.
 Random outing to the store
So glad I'm working on my confidence or things wouldn't get done around here.  Brandon is working 2+ hours away from home so to expect him to do things once he gets home is unreasonable of me.  He has been game & done things I just don't want to be ridiculous. #SantaMonica
So, I wrap Leila & get to it.  Thankfully she has made it fair;y easy & is a really good sleeper.
1st family hike was in September #LaSierraTrailLoop#ChinoHills

Its been SO long...I was SO ready to POP...Happy 2nd Birthday Yesenyah

Its been SO long I didn't even realize its been as long as it has been.  Life has been CRAZY so let me start from where I am now and then go from there.

I gave birth to our 2nd bundle of joy.  I will share Yesenyahs 2nd year of life shortly.  It is AMAZING that we got pregnant again & the pregnancy had been completely different then my pregnancy with Yesenyah.  Her pregnancy was a breeze up until 37 weeks were I felt some heartburn & discomfort but not to bad at all.  Im thinking it may have been because it was my 1st pregnancy & I didn't know what to expect.   With the 2nd pregnancy it was SO bad from the jump.  I  thought it was only supposed to be different if the sex of the child is different, but its NOT we had another little girl.  Though, the pregnancy was extremely difficult I wouldn't have it any other way.  We are still excited that we are adding to our family.

This picture was taken roughly at about 32 weeks.
This picture is around 36 weeks...I felt & look SO huge #regulatrclotheswithabellyband
We took some really nice pictures this time.  Something I wish I would have done when I was pregnant with Yesenyah #capturingthemoment#memories
I got my hair done by a friend this time.  GREAT job...better prepared #notmy1strodeo

1st hospital picture
We prayed SO hard that I would go naturally & that everything would go smoothly.  Especially because we were terrified because immediateky following Yesenyahs birth I had to go into surgery & I was at risk for having my placenta stuck again so I would have to go into surgery again.   But, our prayers got answered & God proved he is good ALL the time.  We took care of everything we needed too & then Wednesday 7/17/2019 I got up to use the restroom at 3:20am then laid backdown knowing today would be a HUGE day cause I was scheduled to go into the hospital at 5am to be induced.   Thankfully my water broke on its own at 3:35am.  To the hospital we went.  We had a little trouble once we got there because they couldn't find my registration paperwork so we were waiting on some labs before they were able to give me any meds .  I think epidurals are heavenly.  A complete God sent.  So I went about 3 hours without anything which was horrific I think.   The pain is unreal.  I cant even try to describe the pain that we women have to endure.  Then by the afternoon the epidural started to wear off & I was in active labor.  I finally was able to push & could feel her coming out.  I really didn't feel much with Yesenyah.  I was drugged up.

With the 2nd pregnancy the church I attend hosted a baby shower for me and my family held a surprise baby shower for me.  I was SO surprised.  I really didn't expect anything..  When I was pregnant with Yesenyah I had a bunch of stuff donated to me from my cousins Alex & Tiffany Rubio & the church I attend. This time I had 2 baby showers, 1 from the church and another from my family.  So, I  have a ton of great things & since there is only a 2 year age gap I just need a few items.  Thats why I was hoping I would receive monetary gifts to help us buy some of the items that we needed to get.  #whichwethankfullydid

So we received some stuff.  Just still need to purchase a few big items that the gift cards we received will help with.  Thank you everyone & the surprise was wonderful.  That was a GREAT idea Lizz, Thanks.

So, Yesenyah is a big sister.  She has her moments where I think she gets it & appears pumped then other times it seems like she can care less.  We are SO excited to make her a big sister.

We spent Yesenyahs 2nd birthday in Laughlin with family.   We want her to enjoy the water as much as we do.  #Laughlin=GREATmemories.  She had a wonderful time.

Then the following weekend we went to Indio & meet family/friends there.  They have 2 kiddos as well.  Isaiah & Olivia May.
We had a GREAT time there.  We are SO happy we found this family friendly oasis.  It is perfect for families & has become a yearly tradition for us.  We LOVE our timeshare.

We have engaged in several water play dates.  I was doing play dates often because I wanted to make sure Yesenyah enjoyed as much of her summer as she could.  Especially because I knew everything was going to be on hold when her sister was born.  Which it has.  Thankfully, Brandon has kicked in a ton.  He has taken Yesenyah out every weekend since Leila was born.  So I would get much needed rest and do other random things during while they are out.

Having 2 kiddos is a ton of work and its definitely HARD but doable.  Anyone who knows me knows I always think things are going to be way worse that what they actually are.  Which has been the case with the girls.  Ive always thought how am I going to be able to do so many different things.   But, there is noting to it but to do it.  Thankfully I havn't needed much help at all.  Which is good, that way when family & friends come around they can sock up the baby.

My parents visit the girls like 1x during the week and 1x on the weekend.  We currently have Brandons mom here & she has been doing all the cooking which has helped a lot.  I remember when Yesenyah was born we wouldn't eat until late.  Not now.  When Leila was 1st born a friend cooked for us, then I was able to manage then his mom came & has been cooking & even my church has helped out & prepared us some food. Hopefully I will be able to manage again.

Having 2 children is difficult but do able like I said.  Especially 2 completely different children.  I remember Yesenyah was SO laid back as an infant & Leila is completely different.  She is SO needy and cries all the time.  Constantly having me worried.  So, we double check everything & make sure she is good.  9 times out of 10 she just wants the bob for comfort.  Thankfully I am readily available to her so I just give in.  I exclusively breastfeed Yesenyah as well but don't remember it being this difficult.  I think its more difficult because Leila is definitely an eater.  Yesenyah not so much & fell down to the 1% at like 4-6 months.  Then we look at Leila & we are like no you are defiantly gaining weight.
Overall, we are doing well and are a happy party of 4
