So, we are a couple of months down in the new year and, it has been an incredible year thus far :) We didn't start off the month of February by doing to much but that quickly changed. Last minute we decided to treat ourselves and go to Mardi Gra and see family. It was SO a last minute decision but we are SO happy we were able to get it in. It so happens that we were able to go on Valentines weekend too :) So, we got a 2 for one deal :) and thanks to these vouchers I had the tickets were hell of cheap too for a last minute decision :)
We started off this month by agreeing to do the Hvasupai Hike in September with some friends and it will be an adventure for sure. We are so in training mood, Brandon has this tough mudder race he is signed up for in March and I am prepping for the hike because I SO do not want to hold the group back like I did last time :S #INSANE#10milehike:#Arizona:S So, for now we are just doing mini hikes until May where we plan on doing full on overnight hikes in preparation for the big hike :S
This is our starting point :) The hike isn't to bad at all even though at times I find myself out of breath :S It takes us like an hour and 15 minutes to go a little over 3 miles :) I think that isn't to bad :) My goal is to be able to do it in an hour :) #hopefully:)
its CRAZY I actually love to hike :) it really isn't a workout for me :) Its more like an outdoor adventure :) Other then hiking I'm still on my workout grind :) and thankfully dropped a few and kept the weight off while I was on vacation #SOhappy:)
We SO enjoyed our mini get away :) It was a fabulous trip with A LOT of family. SO excited that we got to see a lot of the family :) those we didn't see hopefully we will catch you guys next time :)

Its SO crazy that we had so much fun :) The beginning of February was hard for me as I was really taken back by my life these days. I would have never imagined my life being what it is now :) but, I am trying to make the most of it, and glad we are still in a position where we can still make things happen :) My life sometimes really perplexes me :) We are SO blessed I can't help but be grateful for all the blessings :) No complaints over here :) I actually am loving my life :) A lot of things are different now but they are all different in a good way :)
Someone is 11 months old now:) Sorry for the old picture but I removed myself from social media for lent :S and I love his camo gear :) Its CRAZY time just keeps flying us by :) I remember when he was born and it seems like it was just yesterday. I also spent time reflecting A LOT:S I have been SO blessed with an incredible husband :) I LOVE this picture of us jumping the broom. He is my EVERYTHING :) I am also SO happy that we were the first of our friends to take this HUGE leap of faith :) For so many reasons Im happy :) many people have given me props on my dress :) and i'm glad I set the standard/style for others to follow. I love being the original :)
I had to change insurance in February :S with so many government changes I was also affected :S but thankfully it was in a good way :( I use to have to pay for my medical insurance but not any more :) so, I had to switch to a new doctor :S We will see what he does :S he does seem really good and nice and provided me with all my needed referrals :) We will see what my new neurologist has to say :S thankfully my anxiety has been manageable this year except for on the plane ride which my doctor said was semi-normal :S other then that thankfully like I said my anxiety hasn't been to bad :) I just keep myself busy all day everyday :) we have the cleanest house on the block I think :)
I also have been working on a couple of other things which I'm waiting on some and thankfully I have continued to be blessed and things have worked out for me.
I have been able to get some family time in :) and replacde the sandals that I lost last year :) going to San Clemente is always enjoyable :) especially with family.
We have been able to work on the house slowly but surely :) #beyondthankful:) I love having a handyman in the family :) Brandon worked HARD last year to put our new hardwood floor in so we had to do something with the stairs too, which my dad was able to help with :) #Theyareawesome #Thanksdad:)
Girls night out :) 50 shades of Grey came out SO we had to go check it out :) We hadn't done this in SO long :) we had a fabulous time at dinner with the whole fam bam :) then us girls went to watch the movie :) I have SO many mixed reviews about the movie :S In my personal opinion the movie was OK:S It wasn't bad nor great :S and overall I think they could have done a way better job on Mr. Grey :S When it came to him I did expect A LOT more :S
In terms of trying to manage my anxiety and stay busy my garden gets a WHOLE lot of attention. It is growing wonderfully too :) Like I said previously I cook collard greens ALL the time :) They are growing wonderfully. My bell pepper tree is producing again as is the Jalapeño tree :) and I see a whole bunch of flowers out there on our lemon and orange tree :) I decided to plant other things already out there. Since our tomato trees died during the winter I replanted them :S I added strawberries as well the tree seems to already be producing ) The papaya tree seems to be regrowing too and I already have a papayas out there :) I also planted cucumbers :) and my parents brought me a mamay tree :) which I am looking forward too for my smoothies :) I just need a new avocado tree since our last one died :S I also need a good way to protect it all from the birds :S Our grape tree got attacked last year and seems to be producing again this year :) The garden is SO beautiful now and is lively :) I just put birds netting out there and I am hoping that will help :S
Like I said I have been working on a few thing and thankfully have been blessed :) My student debt forgiveness went through :) so, they are going to monitor me for a little while and I no longer owe money and no one will ever take my degree away :) I earned it :) and maybe one day will put it back to use :) My long term memory is way intact I only have a problem with my short term memory so I write everything down, so I won't forget anything important. Thank god :) I am still working on a few other things that I am praying will go through :) Which I believe they will because there is no reason why they won't because I am legally disabled :S Im over here trying to use my disability to its advantage since Im technically disabled :S It's funny cause if you ask me I feel fine even though I know that there has been significant changes in my life :) But, I LOVE being able to live a good life :) When I break things down we are actually OK :) I am over here beyond blessed :) SO please don't hate stay in contact :) I feel SO disconnected from everyone :S since i'm not on Facebook anymore :S #TORTURE:S
So, its the end of one month and the beginning of another :) Joey, just turned 11 months old and started walking :) The fact that I gave up social media for lent is CRAZY cause I don't get to see any of his videos or pictures :S Im over here torturing myself :S I gave up social media, sweets, coffee, and only eat fish on fridays :S The giving up coffee isn't that bad because I started off this year with no coffee :) but everything else has been REALLY hard :S But my diet will thank me later for having given up sweets :) I don't know whats up with the rest of the world :S thats why I love having my blog :) it's my outlet :) even though I can't post this on social media until April :S which is why no one has heard from me in a while :S But, if you are reading this you willl understand and know whats been going on in my life for the last 3 months
We ended February on a good note :) We had a friend visit and had a little get together :) We hung out all night had some yummy tacos and sang karaoke :) It was a GREAT night :) #hadLOTSoffun:) #blessed:) We had a fun filled weekend while our friend was here :) We hung out friday night at another friends bar in Hollywood, then had a get together on Saturday and then saw family on Sunday :) #FUNeventfulweekend:)
We are barely into March and had a date night tonight :) and I saw American Sniper FINALLY on bootleg :S It was a good movie and poor me had my brother on my mind the HOLE time :S He is in Texas being Army Strong :) making the family proud :) and I really don't want him to have to go to Afghanistan next year :S but it is what it is :S Damn military :S Thankfully it isn't Afghanistan now :) but it is Korea for a little over a year :S Hopefully time flies while he is away :) I also recently saw a video that his wife made on flipogram and it had me in tears :S Its CRAZY :S He is SO missed :S

Middle of the month we had tunes of FUN :) For a St. Patricks day celebration we got to go to GREAT friends house and hang out. It was GREAT to catch up :) St. Patricks day isn't ALL about the drinking but hanging out :) any reason to party. We also were able to endulge and go to the Santa Anita horse races. We ALWAYS have fun with our other fabulous friends :) We got a GREAT package deal :) It was WELL worth it :) #leftthereup$

I had another fun eventful weekend :) While the hubby was away with the guys my parents stayed with me and did a whole lot :) I spent the whole weekend getting spoiled :) My car is getting worked on so I can be mobile again :) My dad had it all sparkling for me :) I love the new tires :)
While my parents were her we had a yard sale :) No shame in my game anything to make a dollar :)
My dad also installed a new window curtain for me :) and helped me work out in the garden :) He was busy and did a whole lot :) I LOVE the new curtain it looks fabulous :) slowly but surely constantly improving and remodeling :) #thanksdad:) #hardworker:)
We are at the end of March and I'm busy doing what I always do these days :) Cook, clean, garden, workout, surveys to get gift cards and cut coupons :) I LOVE to save a dollar and I am doing ok with my coupons but does anyone have any tips? I would LOVE to become an extreme coupon person :)
Look at my smile now :) I FINALLY got my tooth fixed and a new cap put back on :) My mouth is complete now :) It only took forever :S A little over 3 and a half years :S and I found out I still need dental work :S Im going to say goodbye to my wisdom teeth :S So I have to get oral surgery :S One of the teeth is all the way out and messing with my bite :S the other is trying to come out one is not there and the last one is coming in side ways :S So, I have to get 3 taken out #ouch:S #Selfie :)
Tough mudder 2015 Team :) Last Place Camps :) I don't even know what to say when it comes to this :S These people are insane :) To sign up and pay to torture yourself makes no sense but it was fun watching :) When it came to this B went all out and did so much training and was hard core about everything :) and, then the week of the race he pulled his calf muscle bad :S He was limping, icing, heating and praying for a miracle :) He was SO adamant about participating :) he said he had to participate :S saying he couldn't be the team captain and not participate ;S So, he participated :) and thankfully his miracle came true :) He was able to do it without a problem :) you wouldn't of even thought he was hurt and I went through HELL with him that week :S
Like I said it was also fun to watch :) I thankfully had this fabulous girl by my side :) we got to spectate the majority of the race :) It was a good experience to watch and this frozen lemonade I had there was the BOOM :) #selfie
Then on the last Sunday of the month we got to out with our fabulous friends again :) We went here to go catch the game and eat :) #GREATOUTING We also went to REI to go get and price some stuff for our hikes :)
In preparation for the hike I have been doing a whole lot of walking :) Which is good but we need to get to hiking trails because this flat ground is not going to compare to the mountains :S So I have gone walking 6x a week in the month of March and intend to keep it up :) Only one that is hating it is Peanut because it is getting warm :S So we have to walk early :)
