Its Been One Month...

                                  Of Pure Marital Bliss...

Words can't even begin to describe how incredibly wonderful our Wedding Day and the last month has been but i'm going to try to give a nice hopefully not to lengthy recap.

The celebrating began even before the wedding day with our Cousin Sonia surprising us by coming in 11 days before the Wedding...It was so great to have her around...she helped with so much of the last minute running around and I don't know how I would have done it without her.  She kept up with all my "to do lists" she helped calm my nerves, kept me from becoming overwhelmed and stresses, and not to mention she lost countless hours of sleep with me the week before the wedding.  Her love and support during that critical time meant the world to me.

The week leading up to the wedding was so incredibly stressful...everyone told me it would be...and it definelty was..working on the seating chart arrangements was not difficult but had to be one of the most tedious tasks EVER...I was up til 5:30 am with my cousin the Wednesday before the wedding working on it...We/ I was so delirious that night that I was singing "Doo Doo Brown" all night long. LOL!!!

We headed down to Temecula on Thursday and had our Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinnerwith our Wedding Party and Family.  We had prevously agreed that it would be the last time we would see each other until the wedding.  We wanted to be traditional and we / I was a little superticious :).  I spent the day friday with some of my cousins hanging out at the mall and doing last minute running around while Brandon spent the day with the guys at Stone Brewery in Escondido...

The weather that week was soooo gloomy and I was praying that the June Gloom would not stick around for the weekend and thankfully it didnt...by 10am on Saturday the weather was PERFECT...the morning fog had burned making for a gorgeous day :)

The Bridal Party and myself got ready in the Bridal Suite..I was fortunate to have a Great Glam Squad not only because they are GREAT at what they do with a Hair Brush and Make Up Brush but because they are GREAT friends and went above and beyond what was expected of them to help out and ensure that everything went smoothly and that me and the girls looked great.  Thanks, Deia, Stacy and Jennel

Part of the Beautiful Bridal Party :)
I was told that I was the most calm and relaxed Bride Ever and I truely was...No Nervous Jitters for this Bride...I was ready to say "I Do" :)

The time went by so fast and before I knew it...it was time to head to the Alter, I thought I was gonna cry when I saw my dad for the first time but I didn't I was so focused on calming his nerves that I didn't have time to be emotional...I think if I would have lost it he would have too....my poor dad was so emotional it was too cute...a moment I will always remember.

The Ceremony

Brandon walked down the aisle with his Beautiful Mom...
Followed by my beautiful mom escorted by my life long friend Sean

I gave my Dad a Huge Hug before walking down the Aisle and thats when the tears started

My Dad giving me away..we had to practice his line the whole day before because he was so nervous

We were Blessed to have Brandons Step -Father Preside over our
Nuptials...it was short and sweet and we did traditional vows.

and finished off the Ceremony with the Traditional Jumping of the Broom.

Then the partying began...we had lots of fun and were so thankful that so many of our closets friends and family were able to make it from near and far to join us on our special day.   We had lots of fun partying the night away followed up by an after hours party at a local club..thanks to my little brother who got all the 411...

And, since the day we said "I do" things have been more then GREAT....
We/ I am often asked by others how do I  feel now that I am married...and We/ I find myself responding that I feel good....no different then We/ I did before because the love that we share remains the same...but the level of appreciation and fondness that we have for one another has definetly grown.  There is just something about saying "my husband" or "my wife" that makes it feel different the feeling is almost undescribable.  We are happy and excited and feel blessed that we will entering the next chapter of our life together as Husband and Wife

Love, Brandon & Angela

  2. Angela and Brandon,

Where is the facebook "Like" button when you need it. Sometimes it's a quick response but other times it's the only response you have when you can't quite put your thoughts into words. Here goes anyway: I was disappointed that I was not able to make it to share in your special day! I am, however, glad that I have been able to share in the memories. All of the pictures that I have seen have been absolutely beautiful - like a fairytale storybook really. And for you to add words it further enhances the tale. You did a delightfully succinct job of recapping your wedding day. I hope that you have more to come. I look forward to reading more excerpts from your Happily Ever After blog. Love you both.
