I totally LOVE to see you with your father. The relationship you guys have is AMAZING. Your mood completely changes when your dad is around.
You were 25 months when your sister entered the world & seeing you guys now is wonderful. You are 3 years old & she is 3 days shy 11 months old. When she was an infant you did wonderful around her & now that she is more interactive & loves to do whatever...you guys be going HARD. She is your running mate. Which is exactly what your dad and I wanted. We wanted to have at least 2 kids so you guys can be partners in life. So, far that is what you guys are... partners.
You are 100% potty trained. We started before your sisters arrival. Your mom wanted to make sure she didn't have 2 kids in diapers. SO we started when you were 18 months but you were not ready. So I waited till you were 20 months. We went for it and we both weren't ready so at 22 months we went at it hard core. Your mom was determined. So even though you had accidents I stuck it out & by 2 you were potty trained with constant reminders. Now you go all by yourself. I can't even remember the last time you had an accident while playing. You always announce when you are going to the bathroom. You have done an excellent job. The only draw back was you sleeping through the night. You would wake up crying, so we would naturally wake up & carry you to the bathroom. Which your mommy had to put an end too, so you could learn to go all on your own, which you have. For awhile you would wake us up at night & we would walk you to the bathroom & you recently started going all on your own at night. Your mommy still wakes up cause being a mommy has made your mommy a light sleeper. After you empty your bladder you make your way into your parents bed and enjoy cuddling with your mommy. I embrace the cuddles. Unlike your sister you LOVE to cuddle.
For your 1st birthday we went all out and threw you a wondeeful party. For your 2nd birthday we took a trip to Laughlin. Your parents LOVE having fun on the water & wanted to orientate you to the water as well. You truly enjoyed it, We are hoping you LOVE it as much as we do. Now for your 3rd birthday we are experiencing the coronavirus pandemic in which we have to stay socially distant. Its a new normal for everyone. So, we had a couple of people swing by to wish you a very happy birthday. Its something new that everyone is doing to remain socially distant. It is by far not the greatest but I am glad we did something for your birthday.
You are preschool age now & were attending preschool ounce a week until the pandemic hit & everything stopped so your mom had to pick up her game & work on generating some home schooling stuff.
Homeschoolinng has always been a strong possibility in our home & now with the pandemic it looks like it is going to be strong definite. You have done an awesome job with the stuff your mom has come up with. At times you give your mom a hard time to do some of the activities. Thats because your mom has to remember you move at your own speed and eventually get things done. Your dexterity is coming so we will be working on writing and cutting skills now that you are 3.
You are an awesome blessing & at some point when things with this pandemic ends & things open back up we want to get you active. I want to get you swimming lessons, piano lessons, whatever sports you want to partake in everything & anything...I just can't wait to get you started. You have already been granted a scholarship to help fund some of these activities so I am SO ready to get too it.
We have stayed home for the last 3 months because of the pandemic we don't take you or your sister anywhere. Thankfully you don't seem to be to bother by it. I think I am more so...hence why I am beyond ready to get your active again. We use to at least go to the store, library,preschool, have play dates & go see family. But. We went from doing all that to nothing. But. We have made the most of it & you have an excellent attitude.
