FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

As we continue to get close to the Wedding we have been asked  a lot of questions lately by family and friends in regards to the Wedding Plans.  So, we decided to address those most frequently asked questions here....

 When and where is the wedding?

June 11th, 2011, Temecula, CA

Also known as WINE COUNTRY!!!!

Surprisingly we still get hit with this question OFTEN and I find it SO funny...but I guess people are bound to ask if they have not received their formal invitation yet and save the date cards went out 8 months ago:)

What Winery is the Wedding at?

Our Wedding Ceremony and Reception will be held at Lake Oak Meadows

Where are you guys staying and where do I Book a Room?

We have rooms blocked at the Hampton Inn and Suites and La Quinta Inn and Suites in Temecula, we have our rooms booked at the Hampton Inn and Suites and will be in Temecula from Thursday to Sunday.

Do I need to book my room now?

You do not have to book your room until mid May but the sooner the better.  The hotel only offered a limited amount of rooms to be blocked for our group and if and when those rooms are booked, blocking more rooms will be contingient on the hotels availabiltiy.  So, the sooner everyone books we will know more or less if we need to add more rooms to our block.  So, if you know that you will be staying in Temecula for the weekend or just one night please reserve your room now.  Your credit card will not be charged until you check in. 

What do I do if I am flying into town a few days before the Wedding and need a room?

Our room block at the Hotel is for Friday and Saturday only, and you should get the discounted room rate if you are booking one or two nights...either way it doesn't matter.   If you need a room for Wednesday and / or Thursday a group rate is not offered because it is already discounted.  Weekly room rates are $103 a night at both hotels.

Did you send out your invitations yet?  Do I need to RSVP?

For those of you who live out of state you should have already received your invitation if not please call and let us know.  All other invitations are going out this week so you should be receiving them sometime at the end of this week or early next week.  We would kindly appreciate it, if you would RSVP whether you will be able to make it or not by May 20th.

What are you doing for your Bachlorette / Bachelor party?

We have NO IDEA!!!!!!   All the plans for our bachelor / bachlorette parties are being made by our wedding party...we only know that it is the Weekend of May 20th.....

When are you heading down to Temecula?

Brandon and I will be in Temecula from Thursday June 9th til the Sunday after the Wedding. 
We have a couple of things to take care of while we are down there before the wedding i.e. rehearsal dinner, fittings, running around etc.  We plan to put together an Itinerary for Friday June 10th for those who will be down in Temecula the day before the Wedding.   Brandon plans on spending the day with the guys doing things in Temecula and I with the girls :)

What's going on after the Wedding?

We plan on having a Post Wedding Celebration at Club Silk which is located inside Pechanga Casino Resort and Casino.   This should be lots of fun we are looking foward to continuing the Celebrating

Where are you guys going for your honeymoon?

We always knew we wanted to head to somewhere in the Carribean and after a lot of researching and consideration we decided to go to......

Punta Cana which is located in the Dominican Republic. 

WE ARE BEYOND EXCITED ABOUT OUR HONEYMOON!!!!


We hoped to have answered a lot of your questions, if not please do not hesitate to contact us and ask.  We are EXTREMELY busy these days and stressed but everything seems to be coming together nicely and we are growing increasing excited and anxious for it all to come together and for us to Celebrate Our Union together with everyone in only about 

6 more weeks :)

Before We Know It...

It will be JUNE...I could have sworn I only said a couple of weeks ago that we have 5 months Til the Wedding and now we ONLY have 3 more months to GO!!!! Is it just me or has time gone by REALLY REALLY FAST?

As you can only imagine the Stress Level is at an All Time High these days some of it good and some of it bad, from the pressure of dealing with work to trying to cope and deal with some recent unfortunate news and, then literally having something to do every weekend in relation to the wedding we have found that we hardly have any down time to just RELAX...and as much as we work on our TO DO LIST it feels like the list just doesn't get any smaller.

But, with that said overall we are SUPER excited to be in the Final Stages of the planning process and at this point its just all about working out all the final details...

My Fabulous Bridal Party and mom are currently working on planning our Wedding Shower that will be held April 16th.

While Brandon and are getting to do some fun stuff like registering for gifts.  I can't even begin to tell you how much fun Brandon and I had scanning away at Bed Bath and Beyond...we had a blast.

Currently....

We are waiting on our invitations to come back from the printers

Planning details for our Ceremony and Reception

Planning our Honeymoon (that we are completley indecisive about) 

Finalizing things with the DJ and Florist

Planning the Rehearsal Dinner

and working on other misc things....which add up and are completely consuming our time these days.

So, as much as we/I stress out I think that we are doing a good job of  managing and are on track with our planning.

Everything seems to be coming together nicely and we are excited and can't wait to see everyone

in only

3 MONTHS!!!!!

5 MONTHS TO GO!!!!

We have exactly 5 Months til the BIG DAY and it is definetly crunch time and We I still have lots to do.  Many of our friends and family have been asking where we are with the whole wedding planning process so with only a couple of months to go I figure it would be a good time to update everyone.

We definetly are feeling STRESSED and sometimes I feel like I have so much to do that I don't even know where to start.  But, thankfully Brandon helps calm my nerves and has been a big part of the wedding planning and is always a part of the final decision making process. And, my Bridal Party has done a good job helping me with ideas, looking up information and being supportive along the way. 

Where we are with things....

Given the Time of Year and Venue we went with Fun Warms Colors for the Wedding Colors and Decor

Mango Tango

with hints of Yellow

and then of course a little Green and various shades of Browns and Tans.

For the most part the Decor has been finalized still just working on small details.

This month we have scheduled appointments with the Catering Company, Bakery and Entertainment Company

We are still currently narrowing down and researching Florist and Photographers, and working on selecting and ordering Invitations that will formally go out sometime at the end of March or beginning of April.

Still in the works is planning our Honeymoon, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Shower, and all the other small details that go along with planning a wedding.

But, so far so good, and even though we are stressed we couldn't be happier about how things are coming along.
